Investment Advisor Representative
Matt is a Registered Representative, licensed in both securities and insurance. Additionally, Matt also holds both the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Accredited Asset Management SpecialistSM designations.
An Overland Park native, Matthew attended Rockhurst High School before earning his Business degree at Saint Louis University. Following graduation, he began his career as a Mutual Fund Accountant at State Street Corporation. He then moved to Charles Schwab, where he spent time as a Client Relationship Specialist while obtaining his securities and insurance licenses. He then became an Associate Financial Consultant, and while doing so, obtained both the CFP® and AAMS® designations. His most recent Schwab role was as a Vice President – Financial Consultant, where he served over 250 high net worth households.
Following his Schwab career, Matthew spent nearly two years helping an advisory firm from Lawrence, Kansas expand to the Overland Park market as their Lead Advisor. During this time, he hosted financial education workshops all across the city.
Since joining Larson Financial Services at the beginning of 2024, Matt has taken over a variety of roles at the firm. He has not only been responsible for continuing to serve his own clients, but he also oversees the entire firm's financial planning and portfolio management processes.
In Matt's free time, he enjoys trying new foods and restaurants all over Kansas City, along with cheering on the Kansas Jayhawks, Kansas City Chiefs, and Oklahoma City Thunder.
